Moriarty's Junior Events Assistant

Junior Events Assistant, Georgie Bean grew up in Norwich, Norfolk. During her time at sixth form Georgie worked in hospitality at various events, she loved the range of events she worked at and found the difference between each of them really appealing. After opting to turn down university for a more practical/life experience route she started a job in sales for an estate agent. After a year here, Georgie realised that was not going to be her calling in life and she wanted to follow her passion for events.

Georgie moved to London to study a Postgraduate Diploma in Event Management for Marketing and Communication. This full-time, six month course included pitches to real-life clients and organising a fundraising event for the Teenage Cancer Trust. Part of the course required her to complete a three month internship in a relevant business. Georgie’s course approached Moriarty for this and we welcomed her with open arms!

Georgie very quickly became an intrinsic part of the team and at the end of her internship we couldn’t bear to see her go, so she was offered a full time role. Georgie is now based in South London and is enjoying working in the Events Industry, meeting new people and contacts, developing her skill-set and exploring other areas in a small business. Georgie has been helping out the marketing team too which has been fantastic for them. The first event Georgie got her teeth stuck into was our Mark's event and she did such an amazing job!

“I was so luck to fall into an internship that suited me to a T, and ticked every box that I was after in a job. I love working in our small, intimate team and find the luxury market fascinating. Working at Moriarty has such fantastic opportunities for me to grow and progress, as the business does.”
