Bucherer x Cartier | The National Gallery

Moriarty Events curated a private drinks reception and seated dinner for Bucherer x Cartier within the Eastern Galleries of the National Gallery in London. The event brought together fine jewellery, art and architecture to create a considered brand experience set within one of the city’s most iconic cultural landmarks. The guest experience was carefully planned around flow and progression. Guests arrived via the Portico entrance overlooking Trafalgar Square before being guided through candlelit staircases into the Barry Rooms for a champagne reception. Cartier showcases were positioned throughout the space, allowing guests to engage with the collection while moving naturally through the galleries. The evening transitioned into a seated dinner in Gallery 32, home to the Italian Baroque collection, including works by Caravaggio. A curated gallery walk preceded dinner, creating a measured reveal of the dining space. The long table was styled with rich red velvet, winter florals and gold detailing, designed to complement both the artworks and Cartier’s visual language without overpowering the setting. Throughout the event, Moriarty Events managed all elements of planning and production, including guest journey design, venue liaison, spatial planning, lighting, styling, entertainment coordination and on-site delivery. The result was a calm, refined evening that balanced brand storytelling with respect for the historic surroundings. This project reflects Moriarty Events’ expertise in delivering luxury brand events, private dinners and cultural venue activations across London, working closely with global brands to create immersive experiences that feel intentional and elegant.
