A fresh twist on a 1950’s Speakeasy

We love a completely immersive brief, Broadwick Soho was the ideal location for an exclusive 1950’s inspired Miami speakeasy - a theatrical brand experience for our client, captivating guests and engaging their senses of the bygone era. The cultural diversity, glamour, and the pulse of South American Jazz created an unforgettable atmosphere of mystery and excitement.

The townhouse’s aesthetic, crafted by the acclaimed interior designer Martin Brudnizki, exudes a vibrant flair that reflects the cosmopolitan energy of its surroundings. The design masterfully blends influences ranging from the opulence of the Jazz Age to Italian travels, a touch of English eccentricity and a hint of Disco charm.

In the 1950s, Miami's speakeasies captured the allure of secrecy. Amidst a growing population, post-war optimism, and a warm tropical climate, these hidden venues, with their plush velvet furnishings and undeniable charm, became central to the city’s lively nightlife. As Miami gained a reputation for leisure, tourists and retirees were drawn to its sandy beaches, enticed by the speakeasies' clandestine atmosphere and the thriving cultural scene they embodied.

Melodies from a Latin jazz band accompanied clinking of glasses and guests enjoying the party and specially crafted cocktails. Plush velvet furnishings and art deco touches at Broadwick Soho transported guests to a world of discreet sophistication—an ideal setting to unveil the dazzling sparkle, vibrant colours, and timeless beauty of their new collection.

The Miami inspired floral arrangements featured lush palm fronds intermingled with pops of peach flowers and blue pots, evoking the tropical allure of South Beach. The choice was attuned with Miami’s vibrant spirit and the dynamic colours of the brand.

A real hidden gem feel in the heart of London’s Soho.
