On arrival we were greeted by our private butler, who showed us around our suite. It truly has everything you could possibly want or need in a home. A bar area, a stunning lounge sofa area, indoor and outdoor shower areas and a bath that could fit a small family! After a look around, our butler invited us to relax while he showed us how to make a delicious cocktail with their very own Miscat Tequila (the very best). A few sips of this and you really slip into holiday mode! It goes without saying Mexico is pretty warm, however the extent The Rosewood had gone to to ensure their guests were comfortable was exceptional. We were greeted in from the hot Mexican sun with a refreshing cold towel, there was cooling sprays by the pool, cold water and sorbets were constantly available, we could have head and foot massages at any time – and this was all unbelievably free of charge!
The food and restaurants at the hotel were amazing. There was a range of restaurants, although our favourite dining space had to be the Chefs Kitchen, which is situated under the very special Mexican lucky tree. This area is available for hotel guests when it hasn’t been booked for a private dinner. The hotel is spread out, giving the ultimate privacy to guests, The Rosewood provide gold golf buggies, boats or bikes to get around. While you’re out exploring, the spa is another area of the hotel that is definitely worth venturing down to; including hot tubs, saunas, steam rooms and a gorgeous relaxation room.
Whether you’re going with your other half or with friends, The Rosewood have129 suites and villas including mega residence villas which are perfect for large groups and include a 24 hour butler and room service. All of their suites are spacious, where contemporary rooms blend with the stunning natural surroundings. You honestly feel like you are alone throughout but in reality you’re only a stones throw away from the busy restaurants and relaxing pool. We had the most wonderful time and couldn’t recommend it more for your destination event or your next long haul holiday.
