Core and Moriarty have various complementary elements, including a passion for luxury and finishing touches. However, most importantly, we both aim to be adventurously artistic.
We had the pleasure of working with Clare Smyth, the first and only British female chef to hold three Michelin stars in the UK at our most recent Hublot event. Core provided only the best flavours and sensory pleasures for all guests attending the event.
Clare has recently Hublot’s growing family of culinary partners, with three Michelin star chefs Yannick Alléno, Andreas Caminada and Paul Pairet. Clare Smyth was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) in 2013 for her extraordinary services to the hospitality industry. She has been honoured to cook for highly prestigious guests at events including the Royal Wedding reception of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, in 2018.
Since opening in August 2017, Core has received numerous awards including three stars in the 2021 Michelin Guide, 10/10 in the Good Food Guide, five AA Rosettes, and the Service Award at the National Restaurant Awards.
Not only does Core have Michelin Star standards, but also an emphasis on natural and sustainable ingredients, focusing mainly on British produce where possible. Understanding not only the dish itself but where the ingredients were sourced provided confidence in us as an agency. It ensured we were not only serving delightful flavours to guests but also responsibly obtained dishes.
At Moriarty, collaborating with the best suppliers is fundamental, working only with those who not only provide excellence within their service but also who have the same ethos as us. Clare has also received the World’s Best Female Chef Award by the World's 50 Best Restaurants. Here at Moriarty, we are a team filled with powerful, working women; this award inspired us all and made working with Core even more exciting.
Core provided a variety of dishes at our event, taking guests on a journey of taste and textures throughout the evening. From savoury to sweet, every single bite was relished by those who attended. Our particular favourite was, of course, the iconic potato and roe!
We look forward to working with Clare in the future, and can’t wait to visit the Core restaurant in Kensington and see the Hublot Classic Fusion wall clock displayed within the dining room. ‘The heart of the restaurant beats to Hublot time’.
